The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.
In this critical role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping and implementing best practices for emergency medical response within our healthcare facilities. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety during critical medical emergencies.
Key responsibilities will include:
- providing expert consultancy and guidance on medical emergency response protocols, procedures, and training programs
- collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement innovative strategies for optimising emergency response capabilities
- conducting comprehensive reviews and analyses of medical emergency incidents, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- delivering high-quality training and supervision to undergraduate and post graduate medical trainees, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle critical situations
Essential qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent. Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration, or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.
