Description
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of private and public inpatients and outpatients within the allocated site/facility
- Provide after-hours emergency as determined by the relevant work unit
- Multiple fixed term full time, day worker with on call position working 76 hours per fortnight with an additional 10 hours of protected training time, commencing from 2 February 2026 until 31 January 2027
- Negotiation of contracts of up to 3 years and flexible training may be applicable
Essential qualifications
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
- general or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- current Working with Children Registration
The following are qualifications are highly desirable:
- successfully completed basic physician training or
- RACP peer review (i.e. been determined approval to work at an AT level by the RACP)
*Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It's the employee’s responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the employer if their circumstances change.
