• Total Indicative Remuneration Salary MD-2 $364,134 - $711,442 p.a. (pro rata) (subject to private practice agreement)

The Geriatric & Rehabilitation Medicine Consultant is responsible for delivering high quality clinical practice within a rapidly expanding department, presenting an exciting opportunity to provide geriatric medicine across the continuum of care.

This includes:

• acute
• sub-acute care
• consultative (hospital and community)
• rehabilitative  
• ambulatory (both metropolitan and rural)

The Consultant will also contribute to the undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research and quality assurance activities of the department.

Essential qualifications

Eligible for registration as a Specialist in Geriatric Medicine with the Medical Board of Australia. Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians with advanced training in Geriatric Medicine or equivalent.
