Hervey Bay Hospital is a regional facility offering a wide range of services to the community of Hervey Bay and surrounding areas. Located in the beautiful Fraser Coast, with a focus on both clinical excellence and patient-centered care.

You'll receive a competitive remuneration package valued up to $175,370 p.a., comprising:

• salary between $129,583 – $150,240 p.a. (L4–L9)
• employer superannuation contribution (up to 12.75%)
• annual leave loading (17.5%)
• vocational training subsidy

Temporary full time, 76 hours per fortnight, from date of appointment for up to 12 months, with the possibility of extension.

What you'll be doing

• Participate in the provision, development and maintenance of effective, efficient and equitable clinical services for hospital patients, in consultation with consultants, visiting specialists, nurses and allied health professionals
• Contribute to ongoing medical education and share knowledge with staff and patients
• 6-monthly PHO rotations may be arranged between the Departments of Intensive Care and Internal Medicine, depending on service priorities and existing recruitment arrangements
• Rotations will also consider individual training needs and alignment with Statewide vocational trainee recruitment pathways
