Salary: MDP-2 $89,253 - $144,291 p.a.

Term of the Contract: 3 Years in line with clause 52 of the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement

At the end of the training program, CALHN will work with the employee to find a suitable placement within SA Health for the remainder of the 3 year contract.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for managing the care of all patients allocated to your team within a specific General Medical Unit at either the Royal Adelaide Hospital or The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

This will be achieved in consultation with the responsible Junior Staff, Consultants, Nurses and Allied Health professionals. Maintaining a high standard of medical care for inpatients and outpatients, you'll keep readily accessible records of patient care and bring any doubts or concerns to the attention of the Consultant.

If in a registrar position, you'll be required to lead the Medical Emergency Response Team, servicing all inpatients in the hospital. You'll be required to liaise with the Emergency Department regarding inpatient admissions.
