The Department of Paediatrics at Alice Springs Hospital is looking for a Paediatric Consultant to our service.

Alice Springs Hospital is a teaching hospital affiliated with Flinders University, Charles Darwin University and Menzies School of Health Research. You will enjoy a varied clinical practice, covering:

• 30 bed Paediatric Ward
• 8 bed Neonatal Nursery (>30-32/40, >1000-1500g)
• Remote Community Outreach Clinics
• Developmental clinics: Multidisciplinary developmental clinic, FASD assessment clinic, Out of Home Care clinic, High-risk Infant MDT follow up program.

We maintain a broad scope of general paediatric and neonatal practice, well-supported and visited by our tertiary subspecialty colleagues. Remuneration typically exceeds $400,000pa. Financial relocation assistance and accomodation support are generous.

Essential qualifications

• Requires appropriate specialist qualifications (Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians [Paediatrics & Child Health] or equivalent).
