Description

The NSW Public Health Training Program is recognised for the training of medical graduates towards Fellowship of the Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine. Current and prospective Public Health Medicine Advanced Training Program trainees are encouraged to apply.

Trainees will gain advanced level experience in all aspects of public health policy and practice through supervised work placements as part of the NSW Public Health Training Program. Several traineeships are available to commence in August 2024.

Essential qualifications

Applicants must:

  • hold full general medical registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • hold a masters or doctoral degree in public health or a public health field
  • have a minimum of three years of full-time equivalent health related employment, including at least two years of clinical experience.
