The Australasian Chapter of Addiction Medicine (AChAM) supports the professional careers of all Fellows and trainees of the Chapter. Alongside other relevant College Bodies and staff, the AChAM works on these aspects as they relate to addiction medicine:
The AChAM Branch Lead Convenors liaise with Chapter Fellows in their jurisdiction to ensure all views are canvassed and issues addressed. The Branch Lead Convenors provide input and feedback to the Chapter Committee on matters at State/Territory level on:
The AChAM committee is a College Body and has By-laws to guide its operations. The committee meets four times per year.
This position is open to all AChAM Fellows in South Australia.
The term for this casual vacancy will commence immediately following confirmation of appointment and will conclude at the RACP AGM in May 2026, in line with the College election cycle.
