In accordance with our Gender Equity in Medicine and Membership Diversity principles, we actively promote and encourage diverse representation in all College activities.
The College recognises that trainees, as future Fellows, play a crucial role in the training program. As part of this, trainees help shape its governance by representing their peers.
This is a great opportunity to share your perspective and facilitate communication between the ATC and Advanced Trainees.
As an Advanced Trainee Representative, you'll also gain insight into how the training committee makes decisions to support trainees' progress throughout their training.
Meetings are held 10 times per year, with 2 face to face meetings usually occurring in March and November.
Members are appointed to the ATC for a 3-year term and can be renewed for a further term or until the Advanced Trainee becomes eligible for Fellowship.
