Description

The College Learning Series (CLS) is a comprehensive, online lecture series that reflects the curriculum and supports basic trainees.

The CLS Committee (AMD) provides clinical leadership and strategic advice for the AMD stream of CLS and drives the development of annual programs of lectures.

Key responsibilities

  • chairing the CLS Committee (AMD) and ensuring the Committee’s key responsibilities are met (see Terms of Reference below).
  • leading and engaging with CLS Committee members to help develop the CLS Adult Medicine program including planning annual lecture programs.
  • providing strategic advice to the College on the development of the Adult Medicine stream of the CLS.
  • committing to regular attendance at Committee meetings (2 x 1hr Zoom and 1 x full day face to face per year) and Committee Executive Meetings (3 x 1hr Zoom per year).
  • overseeing the requirement to report twice a year to the CLS Committee (AMD)’s parent body, the Adult Medicine Division Education Committee (AMDEC).
  • working with the CLS team to ensure speakers receive formal recognition for their work via letters from the Chair.
  • actively working to ensure the CLS AMD stream works harmoniously with the CLS Paediatrics and Child Health stream.
  • adhering to RACP’s policies, including prevention of discrimination and harassment.
