Temporary Part Time – 0.8 FTE until January 2027

HNEkidsRehab is seeking qualified Paediatric Rehabilitation Specialists to provide expert clinical care within The Children’s Healthcare Network, Northern, and support continuity between inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services.

Essential qualifications

  • Be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia with Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (in Paediatrics) and/or Fellowship of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine.
  • Have appropriate experience in the field of paediatric rehabilitation including the rehabilitation care and management of children and young people living with acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury and disease, cerebral palsy and movement disorders and other diagnostic groups requiring rehabilitative care.
  •  Have appropriate experience in administration and prescription of botulinum toxin injections.
  • Provide high quality, evidence based, patient focused paediatric rehabilitation services to admitted patients and non-admitted clients of HNEkidsRehab including their families and carers.
