The AFOEM WA Regional Committee is responsible for:

• developing and delivering region specific strategy and function as directed by the AFOEM Council
• developing and delivering regional training and learning activities to support local trainees and clinical supervisors
• developing and delivering local educational activities to meet the needs of local Fellows
• providing support to the state Director of Training in the education and training of regional trainees
• engaging with key stakeholders, health professionals and the community to promote the role Occupational and Environmental Medicine specialists in the region
• providing advice to Faculty Council in relation to the affairs of AFOEM within the Region
