Description

The College Learning Series (CLS) is a comprehensive, online lecture series that reflects the curriculum and supports basic trainees.

The CLS Committee (AMD) provides clinical leadership and strategic advice for the AMD stream and drives the development of annual program of lectures.

The Deputy Bi-National Coordinator’s key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the CLS Bi-National Coordinator (Adult Medicine) to coordinate the CLS and to lead the CLS Committee (AMD) in the role of Deputy Chair
  • Engaging with the CLS Committee to help develop the CLS Adult Medicine program and plan the annual lecture program
  • Providing strategic advice to the College on the development of the Adult Medicine stream of the College Learning Series
  • Committing to regular attendance at meetings of the Committee (2 x 1hr Zoom and 1 x full day face to face) per year and Committee Executive meetings (3 x 1hr Zoom per year)
  • Supporting Regional Coordinators, where needed, to nominate topic leads or find speakers
  • Adhere to RACP’s policies, including prevention of discrimination and harassment
