There's 1 Committee position available.

We're especially seeking interest from Fellow’s in the South Island, but welcome applications from across Aotearoa. An interest in academia and RACP projects would also be beneficial.

Key responsibilities of the AoNZ ATC in General and Acute Care Medicine include, but are not limited to:

  • monitor and assess individual trainee progress in General and Acute Care Medicine for Aotearoa NZ trainees
  • confirm completion of training requirements to progress to Fellowship for Aotearoa NZ trainees
  • monitor training of, and provide support to, supervisors in General and Acute Care Medicine in Aotearoa NZ
  • accredit Advanced Training settings.

The appointment will be for a 3-year term with the potential for reappointment for a further 3 year term.

The Committee holds 1 face-to-face meeting at the RACP office in Wellington and up to 8 video conferences a year. The College meets the travel costs of committee members.
