Summary

The AFPHM Faculty Assessment Committee (FAC) seeks expressions of interest from AFPHM Fellows to join as the Aotearoa New Zealand representative.

Description

The AFPHM FAC plays a key role in supporting trainee assessment and introducing innovative and contemporary assessment tasks.

Key FAC responsibilities include:

  • developing and evaluating of a suite of formative and summative assessment tasks and activities within the AFPHM
  • overseeing the coordination of examination and assessment items and processes
  • engagement in continuous quality improvement of all assessments

The Committee usually holds 1 face-to-face and up to 4 video conference a year. Due to COVID-19 all meetings are held via video conference.

Members are appointed for an initial 3-year term, with the option to renew for a further term.

Interested Fellows will need to have unconditional AHPRA or MCNZ registration as a Public Health Medicine Physician.
