The AFPHM Faculty Assessment Committee (FAC) is seeking expressions of interest from AFPHM Fellows for an Aotearoa New Zealand Representative.

Description

The AFPHM FAC plays a key role in supporting trainee assessments and recommending policy and program changes to the Faculty Education Committee and the College Education Committee.

Key AFPHM FAC responsibilities include:

  • developing and evaluating a suite of formative and summative assessment tasks and activities within the Faculty
  • overseeing the coordination of examination and assessment items and processes
  • engagement in continuous quality improvement of all assessments.

The Committee meets 5 times a year via videoconference. All members of the AFPHM FAC are appointed for three years, with the option to serve up to a maximum of 6 years.

Interested Fellows will need to have unconditional AHPRA or MCNZ registration as a Public Health Medicine Physician.
