In accordance with our Gender Equity in Medicine and Membership Diversity and Inclusion principles, we actively promote and encourage diverse representation in all College activities.
The FTC encourages first- or second-year trainees to apply to represent their cohort under the new curriculum; this position is available to all Rehabilitation Medicine Advanced Trainees.
We recognise that trainees, as future Fellows of the College, have a very important role in our training program. Trainees are involved in all aspects of its complex governance representing their fellow trainees and contributing to decision making.
This is a great opportunity to share your perspectives as a trainee and support communication between the FTC and Advanced Trainees.
You'll also gain insight into how the committee makes decisions to support individual trainees’ progression throughout their training.
The Committee usually holds 1 face-to-face meeting and up to 3 video conferences a year.
Members are appointed for an initial 3-year term, with the option to renew for a further term.
Read the Faculty Training Committee – Rehabilitation Medicine Terms of Reference (PDF) before applying.
