In accordance with our Gender Equity in Medicine and Membership Diversity and Inclusion principles, we actively promote and encourage diverse representation in all College activities.
The Committee is seeking to appoint 1 Fellow to join the ATC, initially for a period of 3 years, but eligible for reappointment for another term. The Committee generally meets face to face once a year with 1-2 additional online meetings if required. The College meets the travel costs of committee members.
We're especially seeking interest from Fellows at Christchurch Hospital to ensure we have adequate representation, but welcome applications from across Aotearoa.
As a member of the committee, you will be involved in operational matters as referred to in the Terms of Reference.
Time requirements are attendance for 2-3 hour face-to-face meetings, pre-meeting assessment of trainee paperwork and additional time required for out of session email training decisions.
You may also be required, on occasion, to undertake Site Accreditation Visits and mark Advanced Training Research Projects.
Members are appointed to the Committee for a 3-year term, with the option to renew for a further term.
