We're looking for 6 RACP members with relevant knowledge and/or experience related to the role of physician assistants/associates in the Australian and/or Aotearoa New Zealand health care systems.
The Binational Physician Assistants/Associates Working Group is a committee of the College Policy and Advocacy Council (CPAC). It will develop a position statement on the role of physician assistants/associates in the Australian and Aotearoa New Zealand health systems, based on evidence and experience.
The group may also provide interim advice on emerging issues, such as government proposals for regulatory models, before the final position statement is released.
The group will meet 4 times via videoconference during its 12-month term. Meetings are expected to run for a maximum of 2 hours. A Senior Policy and Advocacy Officer from our Policy & Advocacy Team will support the group.
