In accordance with our Gender Equity in Medicine and Membership Diversity and Inclusion principles, we actively promote and encourage diverse representation in all College activities.
RACP members care passionately about the profession and people they treat. Through the College Policy and Advocacy Council Executive Committee (CPAC EC), members can contribute their extensive knowledge for the benefit of patients, communities and the profession.
As outlined in its By-law, the College Policy and Advocacy Council (CPAC) and its CPAC EC have been established by the College Board to coordinate consistent and effective policy and advocacy across the College, as the peak decision-making body for health-related policy and advocacy. CPAC EC has delegated authority to approve College policy and advocacy output, considering member feedback received through College body consultation. CPAC EC considers College engagement on health policy issues, using the CPAC Guiding Principles and the CPAC Plan 2022-26 to guide prioritisation of strategic focus areas for P&A.
Please read the expression of interest form (DOC) for full details on the role, responsibilities and conditions of CPAC EC membership.
