Date published: Jul 21, 2025, 12:17 PM

Summary

Expressions of Interest are open for Community Child Health Fellows to join the Committee as Appointed Members.

Description

One of the main roles of the Advanced Training Committee (ATC) in Community Child Health (CCH) is to monitor and assess trainee progress across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

There are currently 3 Fellow positions vacant. Fellows throughout Australia are encouraged to apply, particularly those based in Victoria, New South Wales, and the Northern Territory.

This is a great opportunity for Fellows who are committed to supporting current CCH Advanced Trainees and the training program. In this role, you’ll help shape the physicians of the future and make a meaningful contribution to the direction, workforce, and culture of CCH in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

You'll be involved in reviewing and monitoring training program requirements and in curriculum renewal, working in consultation with the Chapter of Community Child Health (CCCH) and other key stakeholders.

The ATC meets 4 times a year, including at least 1 face-to-face meeting in Sydney.

Members are appointed for an initial 3-year term, which may be renewed once. The maximum term of service is 6 years.

Before applying, read the Advanced Training Committee in Community Child Health Terms of Reference (PDF).
