The Consumer Advisory Group provides strategic advice on the integration of patient centred care in the College’s professional standards and education approaches and supports the integration of the consumer voice and priorities into policy and advocacy activities. The Consumer Advisory Group has a role in ensuring the College continues to deliver high quality physician education and training programs, supports future health care systems, and provides health policy leadership.
The Consumer Advisory Group comprises up to 8 members, including Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and Māori representation, and one physician, who will Co-Chair the Group with a consumer Co-Chair.
Preference will be given to applicants from Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and the Northern Territory.
