Continuing professional development is a professional obligation for all medical practitioners and is crucial for the maintenance and enhancement of their skills and knowledge in the ever-evolving field of medicine.
The CPDC oversees the College’s CPD framework ensuring it meets regulatory requirements, supports lifelong learning and incorporates cultural safety principles.
Representatives contribute to strategic initiatives, policy development, and decisions that enable the maintenance of high professional standards and in turn support the overall quality of healthcare services provided to the community.
This is an opportunity to influence CPD policies and initiatives that support the professional development of Fellows, trainees, CPD users, and overseas-trained physicians across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
