In accordance with our Gender Equity in Medicine and Membership Diversity principles, we actively promote and encourage diverse representation in all College activities.
The Divisional Written Examination Committee, Paediatrics & Child Health, designs, maintains, and develops the Divisional Written Examination. The Committees engages in quality improvements of the DWE, recommending policy and assessment changes to the College Assessment Committee. Additionally, the Committee carries out analysis of written and practical data on the DWE, overseeing the writing of the examination questions and developing a blueprint of the written examination that is aligned with the Basic Training curricula.
The Aotearoa New Zealand Representative is responsible for providing strategic input, recommendations, and advice on behalf of Aotearoa New Zealand candidates and fellows to the Paediatrics & Child Health Divisional Written Examination Committee.
Applications are welcomed from across the
Paediatrics & Child Health Division.
The Committee usually holds 1 face-to-face meeting held in Australia each year and up to 3 video conferences a year.
Members are appointed for an initial 3-year term, with the option to renew.
