We're particularly seeking members with interest and expertise in education, pedagogy, and Indigenous knowledge systems.
The Indigenous Health Curriculum project is a priority initiative to transform our approach to Indigenous health education. It aims to provide structured, assessed, and sustainable content for all specialty programs.
You'll play a key role in shaping the Indigenous Health Curriculum Framework by:
You'll also advise on curriculum content and evaluation, ensuring the framework remains grounded in Indigenous knowledge systems and responsive to community needs.
It's anticipated that the Expert Advisory Group will meet 4 times in 2026: 2 in person and 2 online, with the first meeting scheduled for March 2026 in person. There will likely be up to 2 hours of pre-reading required before each hui (meeting).
While most of the mahi (work) will occur during scheduled workshops, you may be asked to respond to communication, review documents or complete pre-reading.
We'll cover the costs of any necessary travel for face-to-face meetings and a small honoraria payment as acknowledgement, will be provided for each meeting attended.
The Expert Advisory Group will work in partnership with the College-based curriculum project team to provide project management, administration, and secretariat support.
