The AFRM regional branches:

  • run training and continuing professional development programs for ​rehabilitation medicine trainees and Fellows
  • develop educational resources for ​rehabilitation medicine
  • advise the Faculty Council on matters relevant to their branch
  • prepare a proposed list of branch projects each year for the approval of the Faculty Council
  • develop and manage projects approved by the Faculty Council
  • promote ​rehabilitation medicine in their branch
  • respond to new and emerging rehabilitation ​medicine issues relevant to AFRM, subject to Faculty President or Faculty Council approval
  • contribute to policy and advocacy activities
