Fee Initiative
Fee Initiative for trainees who identify as Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander peoples, Māori and Pacific peoples.
Overview
The Fee Initiative is for eligible trainees who identify as:
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples
- Māori
- Pacific peoples
Once participation in the Initiative is confirmed, annual training fees and exam registration fees will be waived subject to satisfactory training progression.
Eligibility criteria
To apply, a College trainee needs to fulfil the following criteria:
- Is registered as a Basic or Advanced Trainee with the College.
- Identifies as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, Māori or Pacific person and can show proof of Indigeneity and/or ethnicity as part of the application process.
- in Aotearoa New Zealand not employed by Te Whatu Ora | Health New Zealand
