Advanced Training

What is Advanced Training?

Advanced Training (Divisions, Faculties or Chapters) builds on the knowledge and skills gained during your previous specialist training to equip you to practise as a Physician in Australia or New Zealand. Advanced Trainees complete their training in one of 33 diverse medical specialties.

After completing Advanced Training, you will be eligible to practise as a qualified specialist in Australia or New Zealand.
