The College has decided to divest from investments that have been identified as being directly or materially involved in fossil fuel activities.
At this stage we have identified these investments to be worth about $2.3 million.
The main cause of rising global temperatures and the impacts that will have on human health is the burning of fossil fuels. Since the RACP is a health organisation whose aim is to improve the health of our population, we must also take action that leads to reduced carbon emissions – and lead by example.
