AUGUST UPDATE: Implementation timings for new curricula for many of the RACP’s Advanced Training (AT) programs were confirmed by the RACP's College Education Committee (CEC) in late July 2025. Details for the renewed programs have been published on the RACP website.
From 2026, first year trainees in these programs will follow the new curriculum.
New curricula implemented from 2024
The following RACP Advanced Training programs have been using a new curriculum since 2024, so first year Advanced Trainees entering any of the following programs from 2026 will also be enrolled under the new curriculum:

- Community Child Health
- Haematology
- Immunology and Allergy
- Neonatal and Perinatal Medicine
- Public Health Medicine

Implementation details of the new curricula for the following programs will be communicated as they become available. These curricula are not being implemented in 2026:
- Dermatology (Aotearoa New Zealand)
- Clinical Genetics
- General Paediatrics
- Medical Oncology (adult) and Paediatric Medical Oncology
