MJA-Lancet Countdown on Health and Climate Change

The MJA-Lancet Countdown on Health and Climate Change was launched late last year. The Australian policy brief, which the RACP endorsed, along with policy briefs from other participating countries is now available on the Lancet Resources page. RACP members may also be interested in the MJA-Lancet special report for Australia as well as the global report, which were also launched at the event.

RACP President and respiratory physician, Professor John Wilson AM, spoke at the launch and Professor Tony Capon from the RACP’s Climate Change and Health Reference Group chaired the event. A recording of the launch is available to view.

The RACP also made a joint media release, which was picked up by several media outlets, and supported the event on social media.
