Consultation: RACP Drug Policy Position Statement

RACP members, we want to hear from you on the draft RACP Drug Policy Position Statement

The Drug Policy Working Group has developed a draft Position Statement which outlines the College’s position on effective drug policy including preventative and harm reduction measures, evidence-based treatment services and regulatory options to reduce harm from substance use.

This draft Position Statement provides the rationale and evidence for a health-focused approach to inform policy development by governments and organisations across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.  

We are now seeking RACP members’ valuable feedback on the draft RACP Drug Policy Position Statement and its appendices by Monday, 22 April 2024 via RACPConsult@racp.edu.au
