Services Australia advice: Access to adaptors beyond 30 June 2022

Extending access to adaptor technology

Services Australia acknowledged that unforeseen events presented considerable challenges for industry to transition by 13 March 2022. In response to this, Services Australia is pleased to advise that they are allowing a grace period to transition to web services and PRODA. Access to adaptor technology will continue beyond 30 June 2022 (except for Aged Care*).

*Due to the agency’s implementation of the new Aged Care Payment System, all aged care providers must transition to web services by 30 June 2022 or use the Aged Care Provider Portal (ACPP) after 30 June 2022.

Working together

Services Australia is continuing its work to ensure members are supported with the transition to web services and PRODA.

To facilitate this, the agency is holding a webinar on Monday, 27 June. This will be an opportunity for us to address any questions or concerns our members may have. Please email Services Australia any enquiries or concerns you may have before Monday so that they can ensure you receive the information you need to support your site/s transition.

Next steps

Your site/s can register their PRODA organisation to authenticate future web services transmissions (if applicable). Contact your software developer to confirm if this is needed.

If you anticipate that your site/s will not transition by 30 June 2022 and have not been in contact with your software developer, you should do so now. If you don’t have a software developer and are concerned about your transition progress, you should contact Services Australia as soon as possible. You can send an email to HELP.WEBSERVICES@servicesaustralia.gov.au.
