2025 Medical Training Survey is now open

The Medical Board of Australia’s Medical Training Survey (MTS) is now live and open until Wednesday, 8 October 2025. All doctors-in-training in Australia—including RACP trainees and Overseas Trained Physicians (OTPs) currently undertaking supervised practice—are encouraged to participate.

Why your feedback matters

The 2025 MTS results will build on insights gathered over previous years and will play a key role in helping the College monitor trends in training experiences and drive continuous improvement in medical education.

Last year’s MTS results showed high satisfaction with the quality of training and clinical supervision, but also highlighted several ongoing challenges, such as heavy workloads, workplace culture concerns, the need to protect teaching and learning time in service delivery contexts, and the need for clearer communication regarding training requirements.

Your feedback is essential for driving improvements in these areas.

Don’t miss this valuable opportunity to make your voice heard. The results will help shape a better training environment for you and future trainees.

How to complete the survey
A unique survey link will be provided when you renew your medical registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra).
