About the role

Our busy Adult Emergency Department (AED) at Auckland City Hospital needs medical officers, GPs, and/or fellows to join us on fixed-term or permanent basis. We're looking for adaptable professionals who thrive in rapidly changing environments.

You'll work alongside our diverse healthcare team to deliver high-quality care in a setting where quick, accurate decision-making is essential. Your primary focus will be efficiently managing patients with minor illnesses and injuries in our high-volume, quick-turnover department.

Essential qualifications

• Medical practitioner fully registered with the New Zealand Medical Council 
• Training in Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care 
• Commitment to biculturalism and Māori health 
• Minimum of 4 years experience at registrar level
