The Endocrinology Advanced Trainee provides consultative endocrine services to both inpatients and outpatients, working closely with senior medical staff within the Department of Endocrinology.
This accredited core training position contributes toward Fellowship in Endocrinology and offers a broad clinical experience across general endocrinology, diabetes, antenatal endocrinology and high-risk foot services.
The role supports service delivery by supervising Basic Physician Trainees and junior medical staff, participating in multidisciplinary care, and contributing to the General Medicine after hours and weekend rosters while ensuring safe, patient-centred care.
Essential qualifications
A Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (or equivalent), current general registration with AHPRA, and registration as an RACP Advanced Trainee.
