Description
Seeking applications for Service Registrar in Paediatric Medicine for full time positions for 6 or 12 months starting February 2024.
The registrar role at Geraldton Health Campus paediatric department will involve:
- inpatient neonates at Geraldton Health Campus, deliveries from 34/40, level 2 SCN, CPAP, supported by NETS
- iInpatient paediatric ward
- minimum of 3 clinics/week, mix of developmental, medical and outreach
- weekly clinic at Geraldton Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (GRAMS)
Paeds service provides outreach clinics to Burringurrah, Carnarvon, GRAMS Gascoyne Outreach Service (GOS), Exmouth, Meekatharra, Mt Magnet, Morawa and Mullewa.
Geraldton Health Campus is accredited for 6 months rural training with a perinatal component, 6 months Developmental and Psychosocial Training when 12 months is done. Total of 6 beds on the paediatric ward, with an annual paediatric admission of 900. Number of births between 420 – 500 per year.
