Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral has an exciting opportunity for a vibrant, experienced Paediatrician to join our team!

We're looking for someone who is energetic and complements the current skillset of our team of consultants.

Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral is part of Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, and provides healthcare services to over 180,000 people across the Manawatū, Horowhenua and Tararua regions. With a large hospital campus in Palmerston North, it also provides key health care and support services to neighbouring communities.

As a paediatrician in Palmerston North, you'll share a 1:8 acute roster covering the broad gamut of acute paediatrics with a 14-bed level 2A neonatal unit taking babies 28 weeks gestation (1000g) and over. The service is supported by dedicated Paediatric RMOs on site at all times. You will enjoy a range of outpatient clinics in the hospital and the community.

This role would suit an experienced Paediatrician or a consultant looking for their first consultant post. We're happy to support advanced trainees in a provisional fellowship role too and can cater role specifics to suit training needs.
