Description
We're seeking a motivated and experienced Staff Specialist - General Medicine to work for the Department of Health (DoH) across the North West region.
The DoH offers a comprehensive undergraduate and graduate clinical training program, with strong connections to the University of Tasmania through the Rural Clinical School.
What you’ll do:
- Provide leadership and support in delivering the undergraduate general medical education program
- Work as a permanent full-time, day-worker (with on-call responsibilities), up to 76 hours per fortnight.
Salary & Benefits:
- Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1 – Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 3: $425,404 - $629,291 per annum, pro rata.
- Plus 12% superannuation and a range of allowances.
Essential qualifications
- Specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a relevant specialty.
- Current Working with Children Registration.
