AFRM regional branches

What do AFRM regional branches do?

AFRM regional branches:

  • Run training and continuing professional development programs for ​rehabilitation medicine trainees and Fellows
  • Develop educational resources for ​rehabilitation medicine
  • Advise the Faculty Council on matters relevant to their branch
  • Prepare a proposed list of branch projects each year for the approval of the Faculty Council
  • Develop and manage projects approved by the Faculty Council
  • Promote ​rehabilitation medicine in their branch
  • Respond to new and emerging rehabilitation ​medicine issues relevant to AFRM, subject to Faculty President or Faculty Council approval
  • Contribute to policy and advocacy activities
