RACP response to the Queensland Child Safety Commission of Inquiry

We wrote to the Queensland Child Safety Commission of Inquiry, providing evidence and resources to support better health outcomes for children and young people.
In our correspondence we highlighted its position statements on child health, Indigenous child health, early childhood, and inequities in health, with a focus on recommendations to improve care for those in or at risk of entering out-of-home care.
We also offered the expertise of its members to assist the Committee throughout the Inquiry. The Commission is expected to report to the Queensland Government by 30 November 2026.
