Join us in shaping healthier futures. Together we can do more. The Staff Specialist Clinical Geneticist leads the genomic ecosystem within the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District. Moving beyond traditional clinical delivery, this generalist role functions as a primary system enabler, focused on enabling clinical partners through the 'mainstreaming' of genomic medicine.
The role facilitates the integration of genetics and genomics into routine specialty and primary care, ensuring equitable access for the entire population including regional Shoalhaven and Aboriginal communities. As a clinical leader within the ISLHD Partnership Model, you will coordinate complex investigations, provide expert consultative support to other specialists, and drive a culture of value-based, person-centered care.
