We're one of the largest NICUs in NZ, with a fantastic, multidisciplinary team. Wellington NICU is a 40 cot unit, with close to 1000 admissions per year, providing intensive care for medical and surgical infants from central New Zealand.

Moū – About you:

• Vocationally registered in Neonatal-Perinatal medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
• FRACP or equivalent qualification and be able to register for vocational registration with the MCNZ
• CCPU or similar qualification and experience in neonatal clinician performed ultrasounds (cardiac and cranial)
• Experience in follow-up of infants with complex medical issues and high risk of neurodevelopmental impairment (Training and experience in General Movement Assessments and Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development would be highly valued)
• Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Able to provide consistently high standards of medical care
• Relevant experience and training Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley district is located centrally in Wellington and has over 6,000 full-time equivalent staff.
