Key responsibilities:

• conducting patient examinations and gathering medical histories to diagnose disorders and illnesses
• providing overall patient care, including prescribing and administering treatments, medications, and other remedial measures
• monitoring patient progress and response to treatments
• referring patients to specialists and exchanging relevant medical information
• reporting births, deaths, and notifiable diseases to government authorities
• arranging patient admissions to hospitals when necessary

Essential qualifications

• minimum of 2 years of experience as a General Practitioner
• current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
