Description
Unique opportunity to take responsibility for the oversight, co-ordination, and operationalisation of both teaching and research strategy and activities within the assigned discipline across all the UNSW Medicine and Health clinical campuses. You will be expected to develop and lead academic excellence across all affiliated clinical sites and successfully drive educational and research excellence within the clinical environment in the discipline of Critical Care.
Essential qualifications
The role requires a PhD and/or medical degree with a substantial background in clinical academic leadership. You must be eligible for medical registration in NSW and possession of appropriate specialist qualifications, either:
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Physicians, Australasian College for Emergency Medicine
- Fellow of the College of Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand
Also extensive experience with proven excellence in medical education within the discipline of Critical Care as well as experience leading high-quality research. Additionally experience in academic management and stakeholder engagement within government, clinical and academic settings.
