As part of the fellowship, you’ll be exposed to cutting-edge treatments and clinical research spanning the spectrum of patient care.
The fellows will be involved in managing all aspects of trial patients, through new patient consultation, consent, screening patients, and reviewing patients at follow-up appointments.
Clinical responsibilities will involve both clinical trial work and medical oncology care.
As part of these fellowships, there will be the opportunity to be part of the molecular tumour board and engage in pioneering research led by the University.
You’ll also have the opportunity to develop expertise in specific tumour streams of your interest. We have fellow opportunities in the early phase unit, lung cancer team, genitourinary cancers, and melanoma.
These are full-time, fixed-term positions for 12 months - start date negotiable based in Auckland, NZ.
Essential qualifications
These positions are suitable for enthusiastic and research-motivated applicants, who are pursuing a career in Medical Oncology and have an interest in gaining further research and clinical trial experience.
To be successful in this role you must have or be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
