An opportunity exists for a Paediatrician in the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service, Goulburn Valley (VPRS-GV). VPRS-GV is a specialist assessment and treatment service for children and adolescents who, as a result of injury, illness or functional impairment, will benefit from a developmentally appropriate, time-limited, goal-focused, multidisciplinary rehabilitation program.

The Paediatrician will work as part of the multidisciplinary VPRS team in providing high quality consultancy services to clients of VPRS-GV. Applicants should have a strong understanding of paediatric practice in sub-acute and community settings, an interest in rehabilitation and be able to demonstrate the ability to provide a family centred service within a rural health setting.

Essential qualifications

• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Bachelor of Medicine or equivalent.
• Must hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) within the General Paediatrics.
• Working with Children's Check.
