Neonatology cares for the sickest newborn babies, infants who are born preterm, and babies requiring specialist treatment in their first months of life.

Successful applicants will have the skills to manage inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients under the supervision of Neonatology Specialists.

We have Neonatal Units across two sites:

• The Perinatal Centre – King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH)
• The surgical centre – Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH)

Additionally, we have the Newborn Emergency Transport Service (NETS) WA located at Perth Children’s Hospital.

The CAHS Neonatology Department offers an enriching experience that contributes to the well-being of newborns and young children, while also providing valuable learning and growth for medical professionals.

This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part Time appointments for 6–12 months, with the possibility of extension(s).

This is an open-ended recruitment pool, and as such the following should be noted:

• The recruitment panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications and will assess on a regular basis.
• Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur.
• Appointments may be made from this pool until 31 December 2026.
