Description
The Royal Hobart Hospital is seeking interest from suitably qualified applicants for a Staff Specialist Neurodevelopmental Paediatrician vacancy.
We're establishing a multidisciplinary, evidence-based ADHD assessment service to support children and adolescents across Tasmania. This initiative aims to reduce wait times, enhance early intervention, strengthen transition pathways to primary care and improve cross-sector collaboration with both educational systems primary care. The service will operate within a public health framework with outreach capability across the state where possible.
Salary
Base salary points range for Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1 at $216,300 through to Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 11 at $296,640 with further salary increments available.
Details of appointment
Fixed term part-time (0.2FTE) day work (with on-call), working 15.2 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible until 14 July 2028.
Essential qualifications
- Holds specialist registration, or
- Is a registered Medical Practitioner who is an International Medical Graduate (IMG) who is on the specialist pathway, or
- Is a registered Medical Practitioner who is an International Medical Graduate (IMG) who has a recognised overseas specialist qualification and is assessed as having sufficient experience in the speciality.
