Applications are invited from suitably qualified medical practitioners for the above position in the Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD).

The permanent 0.6 FTE position will be primarily located at Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals within the Department of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine.

The successful applicant will be required to provide clinical services for the Department of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine, including inpatient and outpatient care, bronchoscopy (including advanced bronchoscopic skills), pleural procedures, lung function reporting.

The applicant will be expected to participate in the Quality assurance aspects of the department, participate in administrative duties and have oversight of discharge summaries, DRG coding. Successful applicants may be offered a conjoint university appointment within the Faculty of Medicine at the Western Sydney University.

The level of academic appointment will be commensurate with the qualifications, experience and scholarship. No remuneration is attached to the University appointment.
