We’re seeking a motivated and experienced Staff Specialist in Gastroenterology, who'll work as part of the Department of Acute Medicine across the North West region.

The position involves management of patients in General Gastroenterology, IBD, chronic liver disease, and both diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopy.

Experience in capsule endoscopy would be highly regarded.

Permanent, full time, day worker (with on-call) position working 76 hours per fortnight

Salary: Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1 - Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 3. $216,300 - $310,389 per annum, pro rata + 11.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging. Salary range is in accordance with Medical Practitioners Agreement 2022

You may also be eligible for these allowances:

• a fully maintained private vehicle or a car allowance of $28,389 per year
• a Continuing Professional Development Allowance of $16,480 per year (pro rata)
• support for relocation and starting costs
• other allowances, if applicable

Essential qualifications

• specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a relevant specialty
• current driver's licence
